About Us
The Drifting Teenagers Band is a pioneering music group from Freetown, Sierra Leone, formed in the 1950s. Inspired by American and British music, particularly Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, we performed hits from the 1950s and helped shape Sierra Leone's music scene. Today, our foundation continues the legacy of the Drifting Teenagers Band by empowering African youth through music, arts, and education. We collect used and new musical instruments to ship to Africa, import African musical instruments to America, and provide training in video production, movie production, playwriting, and more.
